Need to change Coil imp from .5 to 2ohm. Is it possible? Cost? Time?

If you didn't get the universal option and you have a Dual 1 sub.. you're going to need a new motor. Might as well just sell what you have and buy a new one.

I would guess you have dual 1 ohm coils? Just wire the voice coils in series instead of parallel and you'll get your 2 ohms.

oh. You'll just need a recone then. Send it back and ask for a dual 2 ohm recone (or have them send you the recone kit and you can do it yourself if you feel comfortable). Most recones are in the 60-100 range I think, plus shipping. I'm not sure what FIs is.

It is the 15 Bl 1ohm. Got it mid july.
