Both Mrd-m1005 (alpine) and Usa 2000x produce 1000W as I have the Usa running on one channel (time being). However, the Usa blows the Alpine out of the water. I am also getting less dimming then I did with the Digital amp which seems ass backwards to me. Can anyone shed some light so I can understand this more?

Thanks

Btw, I love this amp!

i'm not sure why that is happening, but i believe my old 2000x made 3700 watts at 4 ohm.

The USA-2000X does 2000++ wrms @ 4 ohms mono and it may be because your lights are not coming back up that you are not noticing them flicker like the Alpine. With out testing the system personally all I can really do is speculate.

that pic is making me miss the 4 black ones i owned.
