I have 2 18 inch BL's walled off.... is the motor structure strong enough to demagnetize credit cards and swipe cards? This has twice now and I am trying to figure out what the hell is screwing up my work swipe card and dept card.

well ... if u put them near a strong magnet.. they should get damaged

can't remember on Mythbusters how much power it takes to demagnetize a credit card...I'm sure someone can look it up.

Could it also fudge up the programming in car keys? Cause the programming in my key fudgeed up one day and I dont know why. Carmax said could have been from sitting by a computer or maybe sitting by a subwoofer?!?!
