Which would you use? I'm not sure what I'd use for power..

Depends a bit on your goals and the space you have to work with. It's a LOT of cone area diffrence between 2 12's and 3 18's.

I have a whole bed of my sonoma to put my box in.

I voted 2 IXL's. Its not a knock in any way against the MJ's. I just think 2 IXL 12's and 12-1600rms would be more than any human should ever need. Note the "Should" in that sentence.

Plus it should make the box construction alot easier.

And the IXL's kick ass.......in case I was sending mixed messages.

I definitely cant afford the MSRP on the site... cause I have other things I need to get.

Well what your budget on a amp?

You should be able the find 1000rms @ 2 ohm for a decent price.

You don't have to pay MSRP, just add it to the shopping cart and you can see the discount price.

I asked Jacob if the SAZ-1500 was 0.5 ohm stable, he said it was but voids warranty.

Videos are 100000% useless in choosing a subwoofer, they can show nothing. The IXL's are great subs, get them and enjoy.
