August 28, 200817 yr Author What kind of power can these handle?I recommend from 650-800 watts rms each.
August 30, 200817 yr this is great, i ran kove in my old db drag truck, still got a pair of 15" U subs.
September 4, 200817 yr Author These are 750 rms so unless you kept the gains at a reasonable level you could destroy them pretty quickly.
September 4, 200817 yr They just look like they are built better than some subs that can handle 1500 rms so I thought they should be able to handle around that much. But I guess looks do not matter that much, because based on the looks of the sub I would think it would be rated for 1000 RMS and actually be able to take 1500+ RMS. Based on the huge triple stacked motor that should allow for plenty of clearance for throw and it seems like the cooling is adequate to handle more power but that is based on looks. The motor could be weaker than it looks and the coil and suspension could be not as heavy duty as I would think they would be.
September 5, 200817 yr mind you the RE SE is a triple stack as well. I could be completely off base but the mag looks more similar to the SX then SE

September 25, 200816 yr Where are they made?I was told by David, formerly of RE audio, that the Vegas factory shut down in june. It is made in china like all the rest of RE audio and US amps products, right?
September 26, 200816 yr the vegas buildhouse did close. They are now located in cali. If they build woofers there i dont know, prior to the move the MT, and SX were built in the US with the re, sr and se in china
