12" SSD 1 0r 2 ohm?

I've decided on the 12" SSD in a 1.6ft^3 sealed enclosure. I worked a trade with a friend for a new AudioQue AQ1200D.

The AQ puts out 870rms @2 and 1200rms @1.

Can the 12" SSD handle the 1200 @ 1 ohm or should I play it safe and get the D1 for a 2 ohm load and feed it the 870w?

Just because you have an amp that can provide 1200W @ 1 ohm doesn't mean that you have to configure it to do so. Get the dual 2 and set the amp up within Fi's recommendations...
