Posted September 2, 200817 yr i need a little help with my set up.ok.I drive a 1998 cadillac deville, Phase linear uv8 head unit. Im getting a fully loaded 18" FI BTL and a rockfordfosgate T2000 amp. I have a yellow top under the hood. I will probly get a kicker 1/0 wiring kit or some other 1/0 wireing kit. What eles will i need??
September 2, 200817 yr i would add a battery isolator and another yellow top. in a pinch you can put a normal starting battery up front for now and mover the yellow top to the rear to avoid buying another battery. i'd get some extra 0 gauge then what they give you with a kit so you can do the big 3 upgrade, and also some good cable for the sub, at least 12 gauge or better, maybe 8 gauge power cable. other then that, proper enclosure, decent RCA cables, and some sound deading for the trunk if you want to do it right.
September 2, 200817 yr Author you think that a car audio shop nows how to do the big 3? ive looked at how to do it and i know some how ill mess somthing up lol.

September 2, 200817 yr Author ok cool. thanks for the help. got a couple shops around here that are well know. ones a rockfordfosgate place(will probly get it done there) and ones a jl audio place. I just cant wait to get my system ive been waiting years lol.
September 2, 200817 yr even if they don't know how just tell them what you want installed...Also i would recommend keeping the yellow up front and getting a kinetik or powermaster for the trunk....

September 2, 200817 yr Author it doesnt need to be 10cuft feet. it says 5-8..... Im trying to selling my caddy and get some type of suv. even if i dont the trunk is huge could fit probly 10+bodies in there.

Im trying to selling my caddy and get some type of suv. even if i dont the trunk is huge could fit probly 10+bodies in there.Actually it says 5-10cuft. The sub takes .26 cuft and the port will take a few cubic feet as well. I'd also recommend going as big as possible which in reality means you are going to need more than 10cuft...
September 2, 200817 yr Author say 5-8 here- http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=7153but im gonna try and make it as big as i can.
