alright in a ported box, where does the bass sound come out of? entirely the port.. or the port and the sub.. or what. im wondering cus im going to port my box into my rear deck and i need to know whether or not i need to seal the sub off into my car also. thanks.

No, you don't. You may have a few cancellation issues, but that occurrs in every install as the back and front waves are bound to meet somewhere.

you could try different ports if you want, maybe an Areo port

thanks for the help. all im really worried about is whether i will need to seal the sub into my cabin (through my ski hole) along with the port through the rear deck to keep the bass completely out of the trunk and in the cabin only and thankfully it doesnt look that way.
