so ive seen that ppl have been rebuilding sub to a different diameter and im wondering if i should consider it an option? right now i have a 12in AA arsenal running of 600rms, in a 2.2 cubes net, ported to 30hz and im pretty happy with but i was considering the possiblity of going to a 10 in a ported box or a 15 sealed because i think it would sound better.... is this just a waste of time?

its 2 in the morning so maybe my heads not in the right place....

could i go 18" just for chits and giggles???? lol

Sizing of a subwoofer usually has little to nothing to do with how it sounds. Your box will play the biggest role there.

I'm moving this to the Ascendant forum, so those guys can tell you if it's possible to recone to a bigger size.
