i have my lap top... and i have another monitor.

i allways had them working just fine togather.. thay displayed the same all the time.....

i tryed to hook up my big screen to my lap top... but it pissed me off and i pluged my monitor back in....

now its all falked up thay both display but not the same thing...... .my number 2 only displays what i open on 1 and click and drag it over to 2.....

i dont want it like this.. i want it like i had it....

i have tryed for 2 hours to back track and change setting but its not working..... any help?

Right click on desktop and choose properties.

That brings up Display properties, choose the Settings tab.

There should be two boxes labeled 1 & 2 choose 2 and at the bottom of the window there is a box that says extend my desktop to this monitor uncheck it. then choose ok
