September 21, 200816 yr Rear speakers will make your system worse across the board and do nothing good. Waste money if you like. For $250 the Pioneer 720 prs set is nice.

September 22, 200816 yr Author OK dudes!im going to build my own box, should be easy as im an apprentice Joiner 8]if i build out of MDF 20" length 20" width and 11" depth, made of 3/4" MDF the internal measurements should be 18.5", 18.5", 11"So! 18.5 x 18.5 x 11 = 3764.75 / 1728 = 2.17 Cubic feet. The sub takes up 0.19 Cubic Foot which leaves it at 1.98 Cubic foot? Can someone please check this over? my first go and hope to build on friday!thanks alot, i can get more info if needed

September 23, 200816 yr mmm alpines are nice im buying some 5x7 oval speaks_BAN_ double negative doent make it right, but then again whatever tickles your fancy at the end of the day that is all that matters
September 23, 200816 yr Author Sorry the box is going to be sealed, so it doesn't need tuning right ?Hmm the sealed calculator gives a different answer :SDo i go by the calc! or the some: Height x Width x Depth / 1728 = Box volume in Cubic Feet?just in case the calculator is wrong
September 23, 200816 yr Author Sorry sorted it,Going to be 20 inch L, 20 inch W, 13 inch D, using 3/4" MDF, which gives the box 2.08^3 if you ask meDon't tune a sealed box do you?
September 23, 200816 yr Author Can anyone answer the questions above :SAnd also if you can!if you were to buy an Fi Q 15" with a Sundown 1000dWhat amp install kit and what else would you get from erehttp://www.knukonceptz.co.uk/productMaster...allation%20Kitsbits a bobs please
September 23, 200816 yr you do not tune a sealed enclosure. I would run 0/ guage to a dist. then to 4 guage each amp.
September 23, 200816 yr Author No i didnt think so,Could you recommend a package from somewhere for me to order, or packages. which should include all that i will need to wire it upNp's if you cba
September 23, 200816 yr Sorry sorted it,Going to be 20 inch L, 20 inch W, 13 inch D, using 3/4" MDF, which gives the box 2.08^3 if you ask meDon't tune a sealed box do you?You need internal volume, not sure on your math there:Internal with a single layer of 3/4" based on 20/20/1318.5*18.5*11.5 = 3935 / 1728 = 2.27 cuftSubtract any bracing and the sub to get your actual internal. A double baffle wouldn't hurt either, but unless I knew which was top it'd be hard to give you that number.Shop for wiring at Knukonceptz.com
September 23, 200816 yr Author MY BAD!I forgot to say that i took out the sub room! which is 0.19 ^3 on the 15"Sorry!yeh im looking on there now.http://www.knukonceptz.co.uk/productDetail...?prodID=KLM-AK0 - i've looked at this, i believe it covers all i need to install my amp.http://www.knukonceptz.co.uk/productDetail...?prodID=KAR08SS - and this to connect subs to the ampJust need someone to check it for me really before i make a big mistake.!
