well i can just put this over the factory braket and put a stiffer one over it and use this as a template...it doesnt cost much at all...

deadening is a must. i took the speakers out of the rear quarters and its nothing but open space to the fender and back into the trunk.

    yea usually round speakers sound better than the oval kinda, really they just distort faster at lower volume..although my kicker 6x9's sound pretty good at moderate volume, then they get all poppy sounding, lol...

    might just make an 8in
