i was thinking of getting something like this...maybe not this particular model. i know bostom makes a speaker like it.

It looks pretty convenient, but I've never heard them before. A lot of companies, like Pioneer for example, will include an adapter to turn the factory 6''x8'' mounting hole into a 6.5'' hole. My ts-c720prs set came with the adapters and everything matched up and fits perfectly in my ranger. I would stop in a local shop to see if they had those Kenwoods and get a listen first before I bought those.
