2 15" L7 on a kicker 1500zx

(spending under 1100)

vs. 2 15" FI Q w/ JL audio 1000/1

(would be spending 1300)

is it worth it to spend the extra $200?

I'd recommend having at least 1500 watts to run two Fi Q's... 2000 preferably.

IMO, they can work fine with less power than that :)

And if your going to buy a JL Audio 1000/1

Fer how much your spending on that you shud just buy a Rockford Fosgate or a Sundown amp..

If you already have that amp, I'd go ahead and use it.

The JL does have some benefits over RF or Sundown, but I'm not sure it's really going to matter for what he's doing :)

Have you already ordered the Q's or something? Because unless you have, I don't see why that would be a problem...

well wat is it and how much is it?

its an audioque2200D its stable at 1 ohm price is 389.99 free shipping my friend has this amp running 2 rockford t1 15's

Start with your needs and desires and not with equipment choices.

this man speaks nothing but the truth

he said he wants it to be LOUD lol look on some of his other posts

i basically want something that will be loud and can be very noticeable and reliable...i have the 1500zx but i can return it but would the 1500zx be able to make 2 15" or 2 12" FI Q bump? because i was told that the kicker amps werent stable at 1 ohm

it will be loud. but you just cant wire the subs to a 1 ohm load on the amp if you keep the kicker1500, i would return it and buy that aq2200 and then it would be alot louder, perfect match for the q's at 1 ohm they will be seeking around 1100 watts to each sub

just order your subs in dual 2 ohm and wire in series and then parallel then you will have a 2 ohm load to the amp

oh and just my opinion I prefer the kicker amp to the aq

and y do u say that?
