im not sure about 4k. but idk i dont know much about these subs, id prolly run it at 3000 watts, should do it good since rms for it is 2500

they are like a FL btl. i think it can definately handle 4k as long as theres no clipping and you play within tuning and be smart about it..

was thinking about trying to bassrace a 149.9 with one 18, without a wall.......would have to be one hell of a box.......right now its looking like 3-4kw for the sub

you are on TEAM Fi... who gave you that position...

and bassrace 149.9... good luck. very possible but gonna be hard as fudge... hittting 149.9 hard. but being able to control a 149.9 for 30 seconds is crazy hard.

FYI my goal is to bassrace 149.9 with 2 18s and 6k watts.

i've seen a 148 bass race out of a single solox18 and 3k....may not be able to do it....if not i'll just add another 18 and another amp

well ye they are sorta the same because their the same company lol but for daily/music i would say 2500 - 3000 would be just fine

Ive ran my 12" mayhem daily with 2 sundown 1500d strapped, and they are fine :)

I run a 40.1 @ 0.5 ohms on each of mine. . . no problems.

Mechanical stress from box design, subsonic filter setting, and music content will destroy them on that kind of power before they thermally fail. . .

stealth .... are you running the sundown 3000's? how do you like them?

yeah i do run them, they are efficient and i like them
