Man 18's freakin Lug, No matter what Fi you get they Will Lug. Just depends on which series you want ( All will Beat your back out)

in your height how far up are you going? How much into your back window?

If 10cuft a piece is what they need to sound right then I'll do it.

You went from a 12 cube box to a 20 ... You Obviously want the 18's So I would go with them. Do you listen to alot of rap? Or Rock? Or Jazz?

Ok, measured again and I came up with 15.7 cuft internal volume after speaker displacement but without figuring bracing or port. Should I still tune the port to 32hz BKO?

I only really listen to rap. From the floor to the ceiling it is 39". I was thinking of making the box 25" Height. Is that enough room from sub to ceiling? Should I keep the box lower? To answer your question a little better 11-12" above where my back window starts.

what are the exact measurements you can work with? No I was just wondering how high you went above it, I would stay about there, any higher and visability becomes an issue.

I think you would like the BL vs the Q , there is not alot of rap that hits the notes that the BL can't pick up well ( atleast that's what I've heard) I ordered the Q's and changed them to BL bc I really was aiming for my car to beat. I also mainly listen to rap and I heard that the BL handles alot of the bass in most rap.

You are NOT a Q buyer. Not even close. You do NOT want something that

sounds good but will still hit the lows hard.

In fact, you don't even know what lows are. A BL will be a WAY better choice for what you listen to.

The way you are talking and your goals point you toward the BL, not a Q.

Easy, the BL is louder and will play all the lower rap notes which aren't really very low.

Max Dims are W=50 H=25 D=30. I guess I don't really understand. The bl gets louder with the same power handling and cone area? If the XmaxX is greater on the Q then shouldn't it get louder due to more air movement? You guys definetly know more than me though so I will get the BL's then. I'm sure I will not be disapointed with either one. Thanks for the input.
