Thats the only drawback, they really dont interfere with anything.

being laid off has put a damper on my tower project...that sucks..

though i did a lil looking around and got some good ideas..

though my new amp should be here thrusday, which means i can redo the install in my truck a bit...

i'm jealous of how the boy's room sounds...lol. and when his new 8's get here and they go in their soon to be built ported enclosure, his room is really going to rock...lol

i mean, the rack in the living room rocks, but it just isn't has crisp or clean as his...and that's just not right..lol

but i do think i need to attenuate his tweeters just a bit. i'm thinking about buying a pair of "L" pads to turn down his tweets, or maybe i oughta build a proper pair of crossovers....

i think a 3db attenuation on those tweeters would probably be about right...but since my knowledge of such things is limited, lol, i dunno. that might be too much.

quick funny story....

the state fair is in town (kinda, in duquion) and saturday night we proceeded to visit said fair. whilest there, we stopped by the baseball throw. u know, the one where u see how fast u can throw.

well anyway, while waiting and trying to decide if i wanted to try, a young girl walked up. she was about 16 or so. anyway, she purchased her three throws, as did a few of her male friends.

first male stepped up, threw three pitches at about 50mph, no where near the strike zone.

second male, three pitches, around 60 mph average, a little closer to the strike zone.

then she stepped up. the carny strted to haze her a bit. she jsut laughed a bit as her female friends booo'd the carny, then she threw the first pitch, underhanded. she hit 51mph, underhanded, with a baseball, from about 25ft away, jsut missed the lil square of a strike zone. second pitch, dead center of the strike zone, 55mph. third pitch, just outside the square again, 53mph. teh carny's jaw hit the ground. did i mention the baseballs were wet from the downpour we got less then an hour earlier?

funny as chit watching everybody shut up and stare in awe as this little girl was throwing some serious heat..lol. while the speeds ight not seem all that fast, consider again...wet baseballs, teh 25ft to the target and they were baseballs. one slipped outa her hand, so he let her throw again (her third pitch, which i didn't count until she threw the good one)

anyway, i was impressed...she jsut about smoked her male companions...lol..and she smoked the carny's best throw...

That is funny. I kinda have a similar story about me getting owned by a girl.

Went out with a few friends to the baseball field. Us guys were easily striking out the girls. The my friend Amy steped up to pitch. She fired the first one hot damn that thing wizzed by. She struck out every one of us. The sadest part is that we (my HS BB team) actually made it to state that year and obvously got owned by an fast pitch softball pitcher. Some of those girls are DAMN good.
