What do you mean "help with those tube amps"? Like how to repair one? Or a technical background as to how they work...

maybe both...cause i have an old reciever and i dont know what to look for to check whats wrong with it...so all info would help...

all i see is wires and a fex tubes...so i know not exactly what im lookin for or how to check to see whats wrong

Well, it would help to know what problems you're having...

Break out your DMM and start measuring voltages, but do be careful. Most tube gear has several hundred volts going around the chassis...much more than you need to worry about with SS gear.

Yeah...know what you're doing, first. If you don't know the difference between a B+ lead and a cathode follower, this sort of repair might not be in your best interest. Depends on the scale of the problem though, could just be a simply blown component.

Follow standard procedures when working with HV gear...always work with one hand if possible, don't wear anything potentially conductive, let capacitors discharge overnight, measure every wire to make sure there isn't any voltage on it before you touch it...may seem a little anal about safety, but at those kind of voltages, you won't even feel it go through you. Until you realize you're dead.

Well, to my suprise the chevrolet front clip used larger corner lights than the GM one.

I must say, having bad, no credit is by far the worst thing to have when purchasing a vehicle from a dealer.
