If only opera had ALT+s capabilities

I could TF so fast

What a shame...

[/sarcasm]

I want my faceplate already.

I gotta rewire the burb, how not fun

My new amp project is coming along nicely...repainted the chassis last weekend because there were light scratches and paint chips on the top, and the power tranny was looking worse for wear. Three coats of Rustoleum's charcoal gray hammered finish made it look really, really good.

It's sitting in my workshop at home, so no pics until this weekend when I get the tube sockets, output transformers and pots wired back in. Need to pick up a pair of RCA jacks and two knobs to fit 1/4" pots as well.

Also probably need to buy a new set of output tubes as the ones that were shipped with it looked abused.

Think it's going to be a cute little amp when it's done. For two weekend's worth of mostly cosmetic work, it was a hell of a deal for $150 :D

6wpc, actually :D Pentode-connected EL84's...still single-ended, though.

That's because you're a:

j/k...when people start talking about DIY computers, I draw a blank stare as well...I'm fine with 70 year old technology, but start throwing out acronyms about RAM or video cards or something and you'll lose me :)

Now if only Dave would build my enclosures for the FE103's :D

J/K...and if Master Yoda himself is reading this, if your work schedule allows you some free time, I could email you my plans. Also probably talk about it @ Finals.

Even my mom knows about that stuff.

But you wouldn't know the difference between a cathode follower and a SRPP stage if it came up and bit you in the ass, so my point's still valid :runlaugh::boo::lol:

I would never need to know what that is.

Unless I was a tube queer :greddy2:

P.S
