lol,,its Randy Bro,,Have a good night,dont work to hard

I took out the subs and the sub amp cause i thought it was screwed up. Then i thought id try putting a diffrent amp in and i put the speaker amp in and my mids and it still had a pop. I'm using the stock remote lead for the stock amp on the aftermarket amp.

I appreciate the help randy.

ya its like when you touch the battery to the wires of the sub it'll pop up, but its a little harsher. and it just does it once whenever the headunit turns on or it goes to a new song.

Beat you just miss your late night conversations with CJ over at CA.com

im drawing a blank, the only thing i can think of(without accually being there to see it and test your wires)is on some factory amps, the turn on wire is Voltage sensative, meaning that it powers up the amp when the signal leads see voltage

i dont know if that is the case with this situation, but it kinda makes sense,if your popping between tracks and on turn on,if this is the case,by doing what you said, and running the amp/amps off the head units remote should fix this problem

what kinda car is this all going i if you dont mind me asking?

Its in an RSX-S

THanks for the help. I'll have my fingers crossed that it'll fix it, but if not maybe my warranty will cover it.

the rsx has the factory amp under the passenger seat and the sub amp in the tire well if i remeber right, yeah?

THe factory amp for the speakers is under the passenger seat. The sub amp and sub are both in the tire well. I just cut the remote off that amp and used it.

just saw Doom. it was entertaining, that's about it.

there was this incredibly random scene where they're walking around looking at corpses and some dead chick has one boob hanging out. she wasn't hot or anything, but it was very random.

Sorry to hear that kuijo, I dunno what's wrong :(

One time I touched the remote lead to the amp's 12v (with the wire from the batt connected) and magic smoke came out of my HU. Surprisingly everything still worked just fine. Hope you get your problem solved.

well it's 6am now and I have to take my pucking bro to camping.

took him there, turns out they werent supposed to meet till 7. I'll have to beat him up when he gets back.

oh chit, afternoon here, lol

off to the auto parts store...need to pick up a window crank remover.

And measure the clearance in the doors.

Really hoping I've got 3.5" or a little more back there :)

That would be teh sweet

Alright, I'm out for a while.

Probably also get some lunch...
