Define affordable. . . I like cheap, but I won't hesitate to spend $300 on a driver if it's worth it.

the vifa xg18 looks to be a good value, but 8ohm and i haven't been able to find a decent review of it anywhere

MAny times a simple email will get you a response that many drivers are also available in 4 or 6 ohms. Many times, as far as sensitivity is concerned, you don't need a 4 ohm driver.
