I thought i told everyone to not get the new aim

You cant direct connect or join chats.

Its not even an upgrade over the new one. It looks better but thats about it.

Cleaned the garage floor with the stripper.

Works pretty good.

Just waiting for it to dry so i can put the sealer on.

I had spray sound deadner all over it so i had to giver er a good clean

Nothing pisses me off more than picking up my car from the dealership only to find that some jakcalope has damn well almost put their foot through my drivers side kick panel. I just finished those puckers too. Not to mention that the jakcalope who stepped on it managed to push it under the brake pedal and pull out the wires while he was at it. I also didn't know two tires, a coolant flush, and a thermostat replacement were installed in the passengers side kick panel ... it was fudgeed with too.

I've bought three vehicles there, get all three serviced there. Buy many parts from there. Pay a little extra for the awesome customer service I get, they take real good care of me. So I guess that's why I didn't say anything this time.

Steve, that is effin BS I'd definetely make sure they knew what they did. How moronic can the mechanic be, obviously with an install like that it is your baby. I have no patience for bastages who do that. Sorry for the hassle.

How does one do that ?

I mean honestly, are you that stupid that you cant see kick panels or feel them down there ?

I hope you went back and told them what happened, thats seriously not right.

Damaging private property= means for jail time

Woot, finally get to board my plane.  Hope I get to sit next to the beaut that I have been admiring accross the hallway for the past hour.

Im telling the mrs' :lickscreen:

Best part of it ... I dropped $500 on tires, coolant flush, GM's special package ... they leave soap in the door jambs, fudge my kick panels over, install the new tires on the back instead of the front (the work order says to put the new ones on the front), break one of the hubs off of the winter rims and throw it behind the drivers seat, and not dry the vehicle off so now the roof and hood have nice little dirt spots on it.

Pisses me off.

If I drove the Silverado in there, there wouldn't be a SPECK of dust on it. Follows the same lines as me getting better service when I wear a suit to a dealership.

Get something done

If i left a car like that when i was detaliling then i would get a serious talking to from the boss

Even if the car was a POS...

Which we had plenty of

People just don't pay attention (or care). I've had a ton of friends kick and step on my doorpods/ribbon tweets with no apologies. A friend smashed her foot between the pod and tweets and was like "owww" and I just refrained from yelling at her for doing that but also didnt bother to give any sympathy. I've had other put their foot on the tweet and say "oh, are these footrests?" no...they're levers that signal me to cut you fool.

I have a feeling the dealership is gonna get a bit loud if it happens to Steve again. :slayer:

You know Mexican Judo...

Aye.

I realize chit happens, but it still just ticks me off. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that we (myself and you guys) are the type of people that would be the car wash guy who, after the fact, realized 'hey ... I got those dirty' ... and wiped them off ... and maybe even told the owner about it just to make sure everything was good - anything to secure future business. Ah well.

Off to work for a couple more hours, then out mudding and partying. Car is filthy from the half assed wash anyway, so may as well get 'er dirty - don't worry, my camera is with me.

Wow...the garage floor looks like its wet from the sealer.

I put some on my driveway since it has some sort of black coating on it.

Only one on the block like it :)

On Weekend Mechanic they are making a 57 chevy golf cart.

it looks sweet !

calm down everyone, i'm back
