Just think, it's lunchtime over here and I've done squat so far.

Almost lunch here and da woman is making breakfast.

I on the other hand have been searching sewing forums trying to figure out what embroidery machine to buy her for the birthday. It is frigging super annoying, but sort of funny as you can imagine the "techy sewers" that are on the forums. They tend to be more board loyal than the car audio sites as well, sort of like the eD lovers. LOL. PM'ing ninnies FTL!

edit *out of habit typed a w by accident*

LOL!!

I still have one.  It has a Stanton 680 DJ cartridge on it though, and is hiding in my basement since I don't have a phono stage on the Adcom.

The '680 isn't too bad of a cart for hi-fi, better than the 500's.

What kind of condition is it in? :peepwall:

Stellar condition other than the cover being cracked. The other one that I sold was a little more roughed up. I just assumed the 680 was a bit hard on the vinyl, but again I originally bought these to spin. In my next house hopefully they will be just used to play/output to digitize music. I still need to be a pre-amp though.

Back for one bit.

Although I would be absolutely livid if someone did this to me, and would own the guy afterwards...

I did get a chuckle out of it :)

Nice how he went through the effort of making out a message for him to screw himself with the porn, lube, etc. However, I hope that douche gets what's coming to him.

Actually, the 680 has a really, really low tracking force, somewhere around 3/4-gram to 1.5 grams, according to Needledoctor. The SL1200 can track up to 5 grams, but there's no real need for that unless you like wearing records out early :)

Did they ever try to introduce vinyl into cars?

You say the only issue is the dustcover being cracked?

Interested in selling it? :D:D

I'd like to see an in dash 6 record player :P

I can just imagine one of those 12 CD pockets that go on the visor, but with records lol

Oh, my imagination is so retarded.

Hell, I don't even know what an 8 track looks like.

I ran that car into the ground.

On one of the baseball trips to the coast, I had a guy in the passengers seat with a bucket of water and a cloth running water down my legs. The exhaust was right there, as I didn't have a drivers side floorboard. When we got to the ferry terminal, we were right at the back of the line - the last car to get on the ferry. Anyway, the piece of chit wouldn't start. Had to have a buddy sit on my bumper with his feet on the car in front of mine so I wouldn't run into it, and everyone else out back pushing. No way I was missing that ferry.

I was cool chit with my 8 track player under the dash and some classy JBL's crankin' out the tunes.

Dunno....

I can only watch so much indy/lemans/dirt track ( truck) Nascar...never

After a while it gets boring

Anyone catch the Uconn/GMU game today?

Absolutely nuts here...I was going for Mason because my bracket is shot to hell with Texas losing anyway :)

bwahahahahahahhahahahahahahaha

More like...

1. There's no point to being around a group that's dumber than you. Once you've hit the top of the intellectual food chain somewhere, it's time to move on, because you're certainly not learning anything new or interesting.

2. I have no desire to moderate or take part in a forum with an apathetic administrator that won't listen to our needs and shows no signs of putting the forum's well-being over the number of ad clickthroughs he gets. Doesn't fly with me.

3. See #1.

4. If you're not learning anything, than there's always a community to fall back on, right? A bunch of 16 and 17 year olds that apparently have failed high school English does not provide the sense of "community" that I'm looking for, and I've lost any humor that once came out of that...

Feel free to post that if so desired ;)
