Had the weirdest thing ever happen yesterday

Homeboy came over because when he plugged in his memphis belle he only got signal out of one side.

We tried new rca's, we benched the amp, we benched the speakers ect ect.

The problem was, the shop that installed his speaker wire to the factory harness hooked it up wrong or his amp fried something. Took us 3hrs to pin point the problem.

Anywhoo...on to the weird part.

Only 1 tweeter worked BUT i only hooked up the + lead !!!!!!

Just 1 lead, didnt even touch the negative, it was just lying there.

The signal was weak but we could still hear the song.

That was by far the most messed up thing ive ever seen.

i definitely need a year off after grad'ing from college. need to figure out wtf i want to do.

You deserve it ... you kids work your asses off.

I had a job lined up right out of school, so there's no way I could turn that down.

I wish I was that lucky. Stupid ubercompetitive biology majors.

Not that strange, that's how Ford factory wiring used to be done...have a common ground for everything.

I'm not processing correctly yet. So what exactly was wrong?

Was it a newer car ? :)

I don't know though. I still don't quite understand how Aarons eclipse was working with only the positive connected. And nick was holding the head unit in his hand. :)

And there wasn't even any homebrew involved.

nope, there were others present to witness it. One pos. wire connected only, nothing else. Nick M. holding the deck in his hand. And it worked. :)

Ramos = cracked out :(

Nah, I'm to fat t be a crack head. Besides that, I ain't smoking nothng named after a part of my a$$ :)

Was the antenna lead hooked up? I've seen some ground through the antenna lead before.
