clean it up as much as possible, make a wet paste of water and baking soda and leave it on till it dries, then vacuum that up. Then make a detergent and baking soda solution and leave it.

Ooo, or rotten milk. Spill some of that chit in your car and you will have to sell it. Unbearable. Good enough reason to drink black coffee in the car. Especially when you drive a German one without cup holders. Germans don't drink and drive. They drink and then drive.

The coworker plays natalie merchant one more time and I'm shoving her desktop speakers up her caboose.

it really freaks you out when your arm bends in the middle of your forearm though.

many sensations that night that i'll never forget though.

I know the feeling. Broke my right arm 3" past the wrist. I was so shocked because it was bent all the way back to where the back of my hand was touching the opposite side of my forearm. I grabbed it and put it back in place myself, but upon doing so, broke the bone in another place further up. Once my arm was straight, you could see a u-shaped bend in my arm from the loose section of bone hanging below the rest.

Steve, white Vinegar and water on the puke.

NEVER USE ANY TYPE OF SOAP OR DETERGENT ON CARPET!! IT will leave a residue that will NEVER come out unless properly cleaned by a trained professional. The residue will also attract dirt and your clean spot will be a constant stain from then on.

ALways clean on the Alkaline side and rinse on the Acid side.

If you didn't know, I am certified in carpet and upholstery maintenance and restoration.

NEVER use Resolve!

Ammonia is great as well, but dilute it heavily. Some of the best cleaning products available to commercial cleaners are ammonia-based and they clean exceptionally well.

If you have a problem with stains you can't remove or urine especially, let me know and I'll direct you to a product that will remove pretty much anything and keeps working after it's been extracted.

I'm impressed.

I'm impressed.

You would be VERY surprised at the amount of science behind cleaning. It's amazing. I've been to countless classes thinking I would just be bored as hell by watching someone teach me how to clean a carpet properly. You wouldn't think there would be much to it, but it really was a great time and extremely informative.

Definetely a science, I grew up working in a Dry Cleaners so I have seen about every mess you could possible have. We used a lot of ammonia. I agree with the soap comment, but as long as you really flush it well and don't overuse it, it will be okay. I would highly recommend using dishwashing liquid as soap and nothing else though. It is meant to rinse out more easily and removes grease well too.

Rust is a fun one. At the drycleaners we used Hydroflouric acid to eat teh rust and then ammonia to neutralize it. Holy effin smell did that combo burn your honkin' nose. Then of course we flushed with steam. My eyes are burning thinking about it.

I think this is my calling. I love soap type stuff so I'm sold.

OCD habits ftw! :runlaugh:

If you think huffing ammonia sounds fun, you should try out some Percoethylene (dry cleaning solvent) that stuff makes you lose your head especially if you heat it up in a reclaimer (fancy dryer).
