make sure whichever one you get has vg and vg2 anti detection circuirty.....

helps to avoid them knowing....and the rm phazer isn't a detector, just a blocker. it's not illegal in any states that i'm aware of because, like i mentioned before, it's passive. it doesn't actively search for radar to block...

huh?? That made no sense....

I use my eyes around town and on the local highways (I never speed in town or residential areas, and keep it under 10 over on the local highways). Even then I have a pretty good idea as to where they are at certain time of the day anyway (small town perk).

However, for my one time trip in the highway on a somewhat unfamiliar road ... that's when I'll use one, just for a little extra security.

No ticket for 5mph (if they do ticket you like a jakcalope its a disobeying signs law) unless its in a construction or school zone.

they usually odnt pull you over for 10mph unless its residential or heavy traffic

they do, however, pull you over for 35mph over in a 70 at 1 AM

If you guys want to know about Radars... let me tell you something....

One of the best Radar Detectors you can buy is the Valentine1. I think there is something new out that is supposed to be better.... but i cant think of the name of it. If you want something pretty damn good, look into the higher end Passport. Sweet Radar right there. If you want something cheap, Cobra's are pretty nice. I know the price of the high end Passport is in the $300 area and the Valentine1 is like, $500 i wanna say? So yeah... there is my input.

for $500 it better do tricks and dance to salsa music for me...my license will be suspended for a year before i can get $500 in speeding tickets.

Ok, I take that back... the Valentine1 is $400. The Passport 8500 is either $275 or $300... depending on which display you want.

Ive been using a cheap radar detector for the past 2 years. It doesnt pick up laser, but ohh well.

Wish I had a police jammer. lol But if I was alone on the highway, and he was shooting radar or laser, I would be screwed.

what sucks is the florida highway patrol can now use lazer when they are in the oncomming lane moving....

I drive 15-20 over the limit everywhere...if you dont, you will die.

i'm getting the rmr jammer.....they can't lock on ya, they can't give ya a ticket....period. radar or laser...and for $130, it's cheaper then the high end detectors and actually does something about it..lol...
