The problem with FL education system is the majority of the money comes from the lottery....ehhh, yeah.

That and teachers act like getting paid 28,000 a year wit ha 4yr education and only working 190 days a year is terrible pay.

The best teachers ive had are ones that do it for something to do becuase they have income somewhere else either from a husband of money stowed from a past job or w/e.

and the ones that complain about pay are the ones that only work the required 6hrs a day...

and after a certian ammount of time you get benefits.

my mother is a high school teacher

and at my HS alone i have an uber liberal Algebra 2 teacher who hates most of her students, a pervert social studies teacher, a french teacher of spanish origin who is hardly fluient in french and the school is more worried about me wearing PJ pants then taking my final exam (i was in the deans office the last day of school during fianls for dress code violation)

i hope she doesnt act like a lot of the teachers at my school.

she is a kick ass teacher actually could be because she actually loves teaching and spent the earlier part of her career life not teaching and just started a few years ago

pretty much the only good teachers ive had that actually taught me are:

English 1 Honors

Earth Space Science Honros (freashman scince, required by the state)

Chemistry 1 Honors (same as the ESS Hon teacher and my AP chem teacher for this comming year)

Physics Honors

and my US History teacher

My english 3 teacher was a good teacher, but enlish 3 is all literature and i hate literature so i never paid attention.

my only good teacher was my 4th grade teacher other then that they all sucked

my 2nd grade teacher was good, so was my 4th, my 5th grade inturn teacher was good and he became one of my 6th grade teahcers. I had decent teachers when i went to privet school then i went back to public school and saw why privet school is 100% better.

i saw a dude walking a pit that looked almost exactly like the one in your avatar today while i was doing my daily run around the lake.

i went to private school until 6th grade and then on to public school..while educationally private school was worlds ahead of public school the humanity in public school was better preparation for the many of the people you end up dealing with in life

his pit was a little bigger/older though and he had different ears, same coat pattern and face and all.

K-7.5 i was public...got a terrible teacher, i was a hot headed aditude ridden Eminem wanna be 12 year old and cussed out my teacher calling him a dirty jew along wit ha few other naughty things. Parents send me to catholic school 7.5-8th and then i went back to the public HS.

interaction with others? public school is the way to go...actually learning stuff. Privet all the way.

magnum jsut turned 6 months old...jsut under 50pds...i need to measure his head and neck....i know he's got a 16" coller on and it's time for it to be changed....
