  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

I need to find out the dimensions/cutout on the 8"s, but memphis' site sucks :(

How bout some Adire extremis or vifa d26nc05?

What are you doing???

Downsizing. Either gonna keep the DLS A5 (3ch amp) and run the mag and passive comps, or sell the A5 also and get a 5ch (either DLS A7 or memphis belle) and run the mag and some other active stage up front. Basically I wanna go to a one amp setup. As for passive comps, right now I'm thinking about either the 8" memphis msyncs or the premier comps. Looking into anything that'll fit into the cutouts I made for the extremii (7" drivers) so that I don't have to make another baffle to fit smaller drivers.

DIY...

Sometimes I like to do it myself.

Ocean > both ;)

I'm just not that big into freshwater fishing, mostly because there aren't a ton of natural lakes around here...and stocked ones just aren't fun. I'd rather go out to the ocean side and fish the inlets for blues and striper, or drive around to the sound side and hunt redfish or flounder.

But I are teh p00r for an ocean-going boat...at least anything big enough to feel comfortable in :)

Freash water fish dont have the good taste like salt water and most are tinny and all the big ones are bad, hard to catch, or illegal to catch around here.

like the sturgen.

Dude you really, really, really need to learn how to spell and speak english. I no longer have any faith in the FL education system whether it be private or public. You cite all these honors this and that and can't even formulate a thought or sentence. Then you try to bash me...wrong move.

The sturgeon is a great game fish and has great tasting eggs, but the matter of fact is we weren't discussing fishing and nor were we discussing meat harvesting. 99% of the fish I catch go back. I don't really have an interest in a freezer full of fillets especially when I can get them anytime. We were discussing wakeboarding and enjoying lakes. I realize you are young and haven't experienced all that much but don't go preaching like you know what's best when you have experienced crap.

Notice the OR... wow, you say i dont undersand english.

Also, they are under the endangered species act of 1991 so.... YOU CANT CATCH THEM HERE!

:wacky: i know the facts about game where i live. who would have thunk?

"Fresh" = freash

"Sturgeon" = sturgen

"Private" = privet

"Therefore" = there for

"Liking" = likeing

"Gorgeous" = georgous

"Console" = coincil

Hehe :P

You could make that a fulltime job.

lmao the only bickering that goes on around here always involves Chris. How am I not surprised.

Maybe because some people seem to think becase i am 17 i have no idea what is going on in the world so they decide to pick arguments knowing im likely to respond. Maybe i should just stop bickering when someone tries to pick an arguement.

That is not even near a sentence so the "or" is useless. And as for the sturgeon, they have an open season here you idiots just outfished them there.

I think I'm going to dig up my posts from SIN and other places from three years ago...

Sturgeon are a game fish only here, lots of them around, but they aren't too good at reproducing in abundance... catch and release. Not much fun though, since they don't fight all that much.

And you cannot really say how fresh fish taste without having really experienced some :D come up here, and there is nowhere in the world like it.

Settle down, it's the pucking internet.

Age has nothing to do with it.  Respect does.

Take it easy, perhaps someone needs a little time off ... because I'm not going to deal with it in this thread, let alone on this message board.

I agree with the respect and if for some odd reason I am out of line I do apologize sincerely Steve. It does happen to be nearly 3 in the morning here and I am real chitfaced; however, I still feel like I am not out of place and only calling a spade a spade. Nothing drives me nuts more than ignorant people and maybe I am too quick to point out some things but I really don't mean any harm. There is a reason that Europeans have an issue with ugly Americans and from first hand experience I can tell that I am not one of them.

If anybody needs to take a chill pill its M5.

See Here.

Because i live in FL i am automatically an idiot.

And because its the internet and an off topic forum, my grammar must be top notch. Everyone else? ehh let it slide.

W/E im done with this for tonight. I like wakeboarding on a glassy river, i like fishing in salt water when i do go fishing, i dont think perfect grammar is a nessesity in an off topic thread...sue me. :rofl2:

:)

I have been and try to regularly visit. Not quite your neck of the woods, but Lake of the Woods is real close....almost MN really.

i'd love to...but, i=broke.

The lakes and rivers around here are usually heavuly populated or are spots of draingage from large cities. They reccomend that you dont even eat fish from them more than once a month.

However the seas (especially the gulf) are home to excelent red snapper, spekled trout, and some good scalloping too.

Ya, your not *all* that far away. A absolute ton of Americans pay BIG money to fish in the north... too bad most of them are arrogant rich pricks, with no appreciation for the wild, or anything for that matter, and I would rather not see stepping anywhere in my country. I have a friend that works at one... I get to hear all the lovely things.

Not lumping you into that group btw :P... I know you know better :D

You can't eat any sturgeon you catch here. Lead, zinc, mercury, and many other toxins have completely ruined the fishing on the local river (years and years of pollution, pre strict and enforced government enviromental regulations). You know you can't eat it when you catch it and it looks back at you with three eyes, a couple extra/a few missing fins, etc.

Some fresh water fish i do like is salmon...but they are freash/salt.

My Papa went to alaska a few years ago and cought googles of salmon. Good chit.

He als owent deep sea fishing and caught a 150lb hallabut (SP) Good chit even though i also prefer red fish to white.

lmao...sounds like most of the lakes around here.

The suwannee is spring fed and tanic acid water and no real industry around it so the fish are good to eat...just arent much fish worth catching. When i fish i want a fight.

Salmon have been overfished in the BC lower mainland to almost the point of total annilation... too bad too. Gone the way of the cod thanks to native overfishing.

yeah, you must all be idiots too. :ehh:

ok...that was out of line :lol:
