Its reletively strong (for cardboard) and lowes had the 8" in 48" sections though I've seen much longer, especially in the larger diameters. Comes in 6,8, 10, and 12 inches.

I dont think they have it that long in any bit you could fiberglass two pexces togather.

Otherwise PVC and ABS drain pipe are the only other options and they cost $$$$.

PVC is stronger than ABS. I did a flex text and the PVC barely budged

yes, and ABS compared to this is much better so if you need it to be that strong I would go with PVC.

No flexing I would go with the card board tube no question. If you need both i would go with ribbed ABS
