Sean, would it be possible to introduce a "Dumbass Newbie Thread Filter". I know there is a rule where new guys must have 3 posts in newbie sign in to be able to post other places and such, could a rule be implemented to tell new guys to look around at other threads before making a new one, like if they have a question, suggest that they use Search to find it versus make a new thread that gets repeated every few days?

We have contemplated having some agreement people sign when they join that requires them to think a bit. Just haven't gotten around to it.

I am actually thinking about putting my boat in storage I figure that it would motivate me to paint the downstairs, replumb the bathroom, change out the range, build a breakfast bar, new fan, faucets, toilet in bathroom, new electrical, and pay someone else to do some sheetrock. noobtard question: Quad Core 2.4 Intel chip = 4 x 2.4 = 4.8Ghz or 4 x 600 = 2.4Ghz. I'm 99% its the former, haven't messed with computer hardware since the AMD 760 chipset was around.

4x2.4=9.6.

I don't know much about it either but I'm pretty sure you're correct. My laptop has 1.6Ghz Duo and it is much much faster than my Dad's computer with a single 1.5 Ghz processor. Leading me to believe it is 2x1.6=3.2Ghz
