I finally talked my parents into buying an HDTV

I got them to go with a Panasonic 42PX80, unbeatable for the price.

Wow, it is -5 outside!

Went out to grab a CD, and my nose hair froze!

The cold sucks. It was like -10 the other day and the windchill didn't make it any warmer :(

At the store I work at we sell them for 799 but my price is a little cheaper :)

I think Panasonic TVs are great. I worked in service for a bit and went on some deliveries. Easiest TVs to use (we sell to a lot of older adults and elderly), and I have not seen a single Panasonic in for service. I've seen Pioneers Plasmas and LG LCDs in more than any Pana.

I'm debating a 50PX80...no need for me to get 1080p. And some will drill me for this, but I prefer a plasma any day of the week over LCD

Yeah! I was like who would do that on Christmas??????? Must be the GRINCH[

broken window, head-unit was stolen, along with a huge CD book...and you know how much of a pain it is when you lose at least 100 CDs

I am so Jealous. I picked up my buddy from the airport and he was in Houston enjoying similar weather, then got to MN on the day we had -10 degree weather. lol

and I'll agree on theifs, but maybe just cut the hands off. An eye for an eye. I am all for that type of punishments

Vizio's are really cheap here, 500 for a 42" LCD IIRC...but I dont really like them. I just need something LCD with HDMI ports for my Xbox 360 and future PS3

The 42PX80 have 2 HDMI inputs, 2 component ins, and one front and back composite in.

Like I said, I would recommend the Pana Plasmas anyday over any budget LCD or plasma. Reputable and reliable.

I've seen them as cheap as 699 in some places.

I was thinking more like sending them into the THUNDERDOME!!!

Two men enter. One man leaves.
