Fit better as far as for the goals of the set. I didn't want to make a blanket statement saying i wanted to have a large format tweeter and completely rule out any small formats that would work great

There is some cheap shit that can't handle 4k, but for $10/driver you can do better than what you had.

And for more, significantly better.

If you can truly use that high of a cross point though you can pick up some serious bennies in the off axis response. Look at the difference in that regard comparing the XT19 and XT25. Hmmm.

1. Looking for a tweet to cross at 5K passively on the DLS component set. (will be used on the four wheeler and prefer a small format for this application) Cheaper the better as I would just be looking for some tunes.

Any idea the true impedance of the DLS? Are they both blown? How about the sensitivity?

How well do you want it to blend with the mids?

Loud or clarity a focus? How much power?

Last years model which is far superior to this years and way cheaper on teh close out.

If I'm not mistaken both the woofer and the tweet were 4 ohms. DLS states sensitivity at 94dB The Mids are great as far as condition, I really have no idea why the tweets blew. It didn't seem to me like I was putting much power at all and they are rated for 50W nominal.

Perfect blending is not that big of a deal at all. I would prefer clarity over plain loud. Maybe exposed to drops of water (not submerged). Budget is preferably not more than $20 a tweet
