  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

Changed the oil, checked the air in the tires and the treadwear, dropped in a bottle of fuel system cleaner, filled the tank, and gave her a bath. Mmmmm, shiny Benz...

I'm going to have to start cracking on the miss fire then. At least it's cyl# and that's up front instead of the hidden bastards in the back.

Ryan do you have a COP brand that you like? Just incase it is a bad COP. Even thought I just replaced them?

I'm also kinda excited I think I'll be getting one of these.

SCT Automotive Performance Products

OEM is the best. The others available are nothing more than OEM copies. Don't believe the marketing BS, they've all been tested and the only tried-and-true ones are the OEMs.

Order them from Tousely Ford in White Bear Lake. You should have them in a day, or you can drive there if you're close enough.

Huh? Could have been? My cousin-in-law has a Z1. Sat in it, funny car. Confusing it made the 'could have been' list. Never imported here, but that means nothing.

You're probably familiar with the BMW Z1 roadster, but have you seen the prototype? The first product of BMW Technik was a monocoque steel chassis with a plastic floor and plastic bodywork. High sills provide side-impact protection while strengthening the car's chassis. The best part is the vertically sliding doors. The Z1's "centrally spherical double wishbone system" rear suspension later became known as the Z-axle and was adopted by the E36 3-Series. The Z1 wasn't supposed to enter production, but it found its way to showrooms in 1988. Eight thousand examples were sold between 1988 and 1990.

On the stang?

On my expedition. I can datalog(with some of the software and a laptop I can read almost anything PCM, GEM and ODBII) and pull codes and understand missfire issues and learn about how the A/F mix is working(with the LC-1 WBO2). It should help get 1-2 more MPG also. They are giving away 3 "custom" tunes for free.

I will probably end up with a 2011+ gt though. The wife has given me the go, just need to wait untill I can find one gently loved. It will have the power it will have the style, and actually might be comfy. I've given up on quick sedans, and thogh I love the previous style M3 in looks and in platform, I can only see myself having problems with it, and not being able to fix them. With the Pony car if I don't like something... someone will make a part. I can make it pure muscle and grunt, or make it an autocross champ. Or go drifting!

Go sit in the car first. While they are physically bigger cars, the interiors are TIGHT. I have more space and comfort in my car than in my Dad's '08. He prefers driving my car also, but that could be the boost and brakes.

No, it's not. It's ANCIENT technology.

you mean like the wheel? :peepwall:

they do make throttle body Weber look alikes, if EFI is your thing

The dining room is ready for some drywall, I am tired.

What you expect me to read one of your links? Pictures only :P

Interesting car though, basically an E36 with a different body throughout. At least that is my understanding.

I am going to hang it and have my cousin finish it. He does awesome work.

Drywall finishing is definitely one thing I do not mind subbing out (especially on a 400+ sq. ft. den)

After I hang the drywall in the dining room I will start gutting the living room. I forgot how much work this is. I hope to have this done by the end of April.

good luck with that

Thanks, I need all the luck I can get :)
