the thing is the door panels dont have detacheable grills, the grille is part of the door panel itself (the pics will help once i post them) so I was going to try to utilize the supplied grilles from DLS.

dang GM and their proprietary factory mounting locations.

wow, at this rate, i should be to 600 in no time.

anyone know a good place for tan vinyl? i need about 2 yards.

i think what i could do is make a 3/4" MDF baffle and screw it to the door sheetmetal, the utilize the factgory doorpanel/grill. but i am going to have to cut part of the metal to make room for the midrange

otherwise im going to have to do the whole thing with fiberglass, and frankly, i dont know if i want to do that.

supposedly the DLS midbasses will perforrm better in a 0.6 sealed enclosure... so i guess glassing will be the way to go. i just have no idea where to start.

i cant do kickpanels though, not enough room.

anyways im going to call up ike and see if they still have in stock what i am about to purchase...

wow 47 post to go, i think i better pace myself.

how on earth you guys get like 70 PPD amazes me.

i can rarely think of an applicable comment on every thread.

i mean i dont like being the guy that just posts "oh yeah, thats cool" or "no that sucks"

but we all do it.
