  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

alright, i'm out, off for some breakfast.

did i tell you that when i had the seizure thing on CA.com some guy PMed me saying he was an epileptic and he almost really did go into a seizure because of it?

Yeah, having seizures sucks.

My trigger is being in a room with other people watching videos on people getting hurt or having heart attacks or seizures. I had one back in high school during the heart attacks, strokes, and seizures first aid video. Second one in high school watching an informative video on what happens during a heart attack in biology class. Another one in one of my fourth year biology classes, same reason. One a few years ago watching Trauma: Life In The ER in my basement with a couple friends. Two at movie theatres within the last three years. And one this past Friday updating my WHMIS and on the job safety certificate - watching a video of a girls hand getting caught in a meat grinder at work.

Of course it's all fake blood, gore, etc. Tunnel vision kicks in and no matter where you look ... the background music stick in your head and you feel every single beat. The first one I had in high school allowed me to walk into a group of people across the hall and drag my head along entire bank of lockers on one side, then dropping and the rest is a blank - having someone hold your tongue so you don't swallow it really hurts the next day.

I try and put myself in as many of these situations as I can so I can try and 'tough' it out, or at least try and put the symptoms aside ... but it doesn't work.

The worst thing isn't having the seizure ... it's falling face first in a university classroom with 140 other students watching you.

There's my story for the day. :lame:

my story for the day?

it's saturday morning, i'm on the "hinge and pull" machine (basicly, it takes 47 rd belts of ammo, stretches them to test the links and then bends them in two different directions to make sure that they are limber enough not to jam the gun)...they bring us some junk ass links, they are extrememly tight...teh machine can't grab them right...links are popping...

i get so pissed, i grab one belt that was trying to feed into the machine while there was already a belt there (the 47rd belt weighs aprox. 80pds) and yank it back up the conveyor....damn near setting off the entire thing as the primers smash into the next belt coming down the line. (several primers were actually dented)...scaring everybody behind me in the bay that saw it.

i was told to take a walk for a minute or 10...lol..

long story short...i got back to the machine and pretty much dealt with it all morning (we rotate stations in that particular bay)

also, i'm really hating some of the ppl in the union..."that's not ur job, make the adjustor fix it "...i am an adjustor who happens to be curtailed to mca..so guess what...I CAN FIX IT!!

" we get paid by the hour, not hte part"....yeah..but we are here to work, not female dog about it. and the more we work, the faster the day goes..crybabies...

arrggggghhhhhh...

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:
