Ok so I tried on some new shoes today and they felt very nice. The only problem is my long toes, but these fit very well. The funny part was my wife laughed when the guy sizing me up said boy your toes are long. Any how I got the ones on sale for 53.99 and he said after 30 days if I do not like them I can return them. So far I am liking them.

I'm thinking a set of cans would be best way to establish what a balanced system would sound like. maybe balanced isn't the best word.

Essentially, i dont have a reference as to what the system in my car "could" sound like. So my tuning has always been kind of back and forth process. Doesn't help that my music library is shit.

I looked at these types of "shoes" several months ago when they were first mentioned here and all the ones I found were around $100. Where the hell are you guys finding them half off?

Cool grass.

Just an FYI, the boot fitters at REI told me to tighten them a shit ton and not to wear them loose.

They have last years for $56 at REI right now. New ones came in so they are clearing out the old. Doesn't hurt to have a friend or family that works there so you can stack another 25% off although that only lasts through tomorrow.

Looks more like clover to me. With my toe length, they fit nice and tight.

If my feet were smaller I could have gotten some from last year for 36.00

Yea I did and they are the wides and fit very well.

It looks loose in the pic Neal, only reason I commented smile.png

Yea it was I put it on quick for the picture, we were outside and I was barefoot.

I just saw a tree get struck by lightning and two seconds later the fire department came flashing by. Crazy night tonight.

Sounds wild, we have had similar weather here too.

You guys are freaking awesome. I've been really wanting some Bikilas and didn't have the money to pay. I have some cash back at REI and a 20% coupon.

Now the only question is do I want to get the mens 40 or the womens 39 (don't make fun of me alright!)? My KSO's are 38's and are just a tad small. My foot binds when my toes bend back.

Did a measurement and ended up ordering the women's. The difference between M38 KSO and M40 Bikila is 3/4". The difference between 38M KSO and 39W Bikila is 1/8" which I think with be perfect.

My 20% wasn't available right now, but I did get an $8 discount, free shipping, and REI's bad ass return policy so I'm good to go!

Bought some Vibram Five Fingers and am wearing them for the first time, funny feeling.

Curious, does your pinky toe feel like it's spread apart from the others? Mine was driving me nuts, so I finally cut part of the fabric.

No, and amusingly that is part of the reason I bought them. My pinky toe normally hides underneath its neighbor. Was told it's better for my feet to separate them. Hard as shit to get the little guy in there but once in it's fine.

I did have to buy the running shoes as the off trail ones felt like they twisted my toes all to shit. Amazingly completely different feel.

My pinky toe is permanently damaged from being smashed. Nail is split into 2 even.

In ear monitors are great for traveling and for big booming bass. However.... I got a pair of mid level cans and the destroy my in ears. Both were in the same $400 price range. If you can tolerate on ear the Grados are insanely good for their super low price.
