Sounds like a busy week Sean.

And next week I'm in Boston, the following in Krautland.

Your memory stick is on hold as I'd like some time to put things on I want you to have, but I'll do it. Might even do it while traveling smile.png

No rush. :D

No rush. biggrin.png

I hadn't planned on putting any Rush on it. In fact I don't even have any. :P

Did I mention that I really dig the miniDSP's? Outside of using a cpu as a processor I pretty much feel they are the best solution. Amusingly I am running my JL component sets active and passive at the same time. HP (duh) and a custom biquad shelf filter to solve the ridiculous imbalance between the tweeter and the mid. Add a few parametric cuts and I have them sounding pretty good. Tough balance between teetering on the hairy edge of output capability and sounding right. smile.png

did you have to buy any of their additional software for the filters / eq? They do indeed look pretty sweet. I may pick one up in a couple months for some towers / desk monitors.

I bought a 2.1 advanced filter set and a 4 way set for $10. In reality you could use mine even...

Speaking of ripping. I have DVD Decrypted some kiddie movies I own and want to package them onto my Droid. Any recommendations from people who actually watch movies?

This might get you in the right track: http://androidforums.com/how-tips/14610-put-videos-droid.html

I've used handbrake before with good luck, not specifically for Android, but Ipad, and computer.

Not sure what you used to, or if it even matters, but dvd43 is awesome for decrypting. Start it, double click drive, copy and paste video_ts to hdd.

That's not bad. I'd probably use some set for a basic 2-way if that's not included.

Used DVD Decrypter. Put DVD in, pc says "do you want to decrypt", click yes and done. Still VOB files though...so they didn't play tongue.png

If your doing playback on a computer, you can use VLC player, but that may not help if your streaming up to a tv, or another device. Although I know it does have some network features...

Those two are the only two you'd need. Sorry $10 each....or mine.

Well they got one thing right. ;)

get the program- xvid4psp.

That software is free and WELL worth it!

Save in a mobile format guaranteed to play on ipad or android.

IT will convert anything to anything.

IF you need any codecs, it will act stupid if you need any, get the Shark codecs, full package searchable via yahoo.

I would not suggest getting the codecs unless converting is a failure.

It sucks all the trails in AZ are hidden. Searching forums for hours will sometimes lead to clues, and piece it all together, but the most part everything is hidden so the Forest Service doesn't claim it, and turn it into horse-back only.

And all the Forest Service shit is only fun if you go way too fast, and then you come around the corner to see moms and pops on their atvs. :(

Is that what you use for all your porn? I bet it's a real bitch when one of the good one's fails during conversion.

:D
