  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

< has never done drugs, believe it or not............

Me neither. Heck I don't even take otc drugs ever.

I don't drink hardly at all. Maybe once or twice a year.

X2 on the drugs here. I did take over the counter pills for colds and various other stuff but nothing to drug me up.

Can't say the same about alcohol but I've never ever blacked out or wasted.

Third sushi lunch of the week, doh

I hate you :P

Whenever I want to order sushi at work I need to convince my female co-workers to order too, so we all split delivery costs. Doesn't take much to convince them though :P

I make pharmaceuticals, I promise you guys don't want to know what substances are actually in them.

Reminds me of my boxer dugan. God I miss coming home and seeing him. Its going to be weird the next time I go home to NY and he isn't barking at me.

And at least my Friday was better besides lunch fucking with my stomach.

I don't even take medicine for colds. Just let my body fight it out. Of course I've only gotten 1 cold in the last 8 years or so. Which is pretty damn good seeing as I work outside, and the winters it is usually poring rain and in the mid 30's.

Same here. My wife's a pill popper though. Funny as we'll end up with the same cold, mine's gone in 2days without meds while hers lasts a week or better. I always assume it's because I've allowed my immune system to strengthen by not taking meds while hers is weak as shit from constantly taking one thing or anything, but I don't have any medical backing to support that hypothesis.

For anyone that has done a crossover. When i took the masking tape off my inductor it unwinds just a bit. Is this okay or does it need to be as tight as possible?

The uncertainty on them is pretty broad, a little unwind only changes things a little but the real question is how close was it in the first place and do you care. Considering you are building a kit it won't be like the original anyways...so no, not a huge worry.

Likewise. Only exception is something to help me breathe once in a blue moon. Everything else pretty much fixes itself.

So I ended up tightening it back up.

Another issue though on the Zaph page it has a crossover component list and the crossover schematic has 2 resistors that aren't on the list. Are they not needed? I do have a .1 resistor (that I was going to series with a 3.9 to make the 4.0) but I defitiely don't have the .75.

Small values by an inductor? If so, then measure your inductor. If it's off because you bought something different than he was using you can compensate by adding what you need.

The red resistors aren't actually resistors.....it's the resistance of the inductor itself. In this case, R8 is the resistance of L7 and R2 is the resistance of L1.

Oh, thank goodness and thanks! I thought I was going to be screwed on making these this weekend.
