Sweet. Lately they haven't been very interesting to me.

I have been watching a lot of mountain biking videos. Mostly pedal power ones, bunch done via redbull.

Those guys are just amazing. And I love the mega HD skills.

I also watched some amazing ones in europe that were from a helmet cam. Really cool stuff.

I need some help from the more organized, motivated guys. I am having trouble getting tasks done.

What is some insight on how to take on tasks? I need more than just "make a list and break it down" and less than "go read this book...". Something interesting is I am putting off the tasks I WANT to complete for things other things. And not things that NEED to be done.

Something makes me feel like I am trending downward. I didnt notice it before and I had been feeling positive, but I am feeling like I took a couple steps back lately.....

I love to procrastinate, and what's always helped me is having a basic todo list, ordered by deadlines and importance. If it's something big, I like to take breaks here and there as a psychological reward. :P

You are doing the list backwards, needs to start by when it needs to get done and then broken into the pieces to make it happen. Some reward for the finish and punishment for the not doesn't hurt either. Of course my punishment is usually an anti-reward.

Each month, each week , each day review and learn.

If you don't review your plans you don't get to see that it was just you being a lazy bitch that made it not get done. And of course if there was truly a real reason it still feels good. Review to make sure you know where you went wrong will help.

Remember, in any time management the phrase, "I didn't have time" is not allowed. What you are really saying is, "it isn't important to me". If you want it done, make it important.

How do you review? What process do you use.

Think about what you got done, what you didn't and the why's of each. Figure out what I decided to do instead and then learn from it.

Normally this ends in my getting frustrated with myself every 3 months or so and having a 3 day marathon of HOLY FUCK do I get shit done.

Say for instance the indoor spice garden I was going to bulid to get a head start on summer. Still haven't. Moved it up today since my outdoor one is about to shit.

Open:

-what to use for a water/food tank

-what pump

-what it should look like, ie, what wood/how to cover it.

Dinking around today I thought about a 10gal fish tank wrapped in wood. Nice square vessel that should be $10 on CL. The rest, not sure. Pump I'm not so worried about, wood and covering said tank and the 8-12 little pots and pvc path I'm open.

Going into a wood room with travertine tile floor...while in this house. Perhaps on wood floors in our next.

Makes me think dark wood, but I don't want to pay for that much walnut. I also have a stain problem. Pretty much prefer wood with Poly.

Another one. Find someone to clean the bottom of the boat.

Easy to find and good = $$

Easy to find and Cheap = bad

Hard to find and good = ? Haven't found them yet.

And NO WAY am I ever doing that again.

Usually other things move up. These days regularly it's playing with the boys, but I feel that is an acceptable one.

Very acceptable and most important.
