damn, didnt expect running wires to take 6 hours. although stripping/reinstalling the interior took the most time. definitely worth it, no more ugly wires showing here and there.

my doorpods are on the small side, so i'm wondering how much polyfill i should put in. recommended is .3 sealed, i'm guessing mines between .1 and .2.

so ok let me get this right. There is a guy selling his 12" MT over on CA.com and said it's a DVC 1.4 ohm. First off, how do you get a dvc 1.4ohm, is that from using a DMM and seeing what the actual resistance was on the voice coils? or does RE really make DVC 1.4 ohm MT's?

also, what kind of amp could you use for this thing. According to the12volt.com parallel wiring = 0.7, and series = 2.8. So would you just use an amp that does goo at 2ohms?

cause those are weird resistances =(

wow reading > me. RE does make dvc .7 or dvc 1.4 ohm coil configs.

Impedance rise will kick in, prob wont see a .7ohm load

u can find an amp thats stable at 1 or stable at 3 or so considering impedance rise.
