^^ That's when I'd call the 62 year old guy on the bus ;)

That's horrible! moor BM'er :(

wait, was that Mustang a GT or a Shelby?

if it was just a GT, then yes, they're slow

if it was a Shelby, then I suppose they're kind of quick

In comparison to what, the Camaro?

Here we go again. . .

2011 is sure to hold a big surprise for the General again.

yes, in comparison to the Camaro

when I see stock 10 year old cars running almost a full second faster than a stock '08 GT, it raises eyebrows

low 14's (what the '08 GT ran when stock) is slower than most stock LT1 cars

and I hope Ford does step it up in 2011 (I still have to read the Hot Rod article on the new 5.0) as it will make the General do the same

Shelby GT five hundo.

ok so the 2008 GT500s run the 1/4 in 12.6, 12.8, 12.9 (looked at a number of sources to find a spectrum of results)

and the 2010s run in the 12.4, 12.5 range

high 12's is bolt-on LS1 F-body territory, low 12's is bolt-ons, stalled, and geared LS1 F-body territory

for what the GT500 should be, yeah, it's only kind of quick

You're comparing apples to oranges. The F-body is what 7-800lbs lighter. If you want to make that comparison, take the drivetrain from the Shelby and put it in a Fox body. You instantly have a 10 second car.

I am making an apples to oranges comparison, but not in the way you're thinking. The Shelby is not a production Ford vehicle. It'd be more appropriate it compare it to one of the Berger Camaros.

And weight is a factor of the car, you can't use that as an excuse. My Impala would be a 12 second car too if it dropped 2000 lbs.

I only owe $1 on my federal, but $51 to Idaho. I'll get $34 from Utah. :bull:

got you beat.... not sure of the break down but i owe about 220 total :(

Slight infection, antibiotics and a quick pass home.

Xray's were good, wbc only slightly extra, slight orange inner ear.

Managed to get a tooth today too. Tough week on the little guy. :(

Going to be fine though :)

d-dang! tooth, sack surgery, and infection!

He's a warrior to be that tough! I'm glad it's not too serious

He is showing you that he is a tuff little guy and does not need meds to get better.

Aunts, uncles, and grandparents make everything better.

Now the little mang won't take any meds either. Aargh. :( He's asleep on my sisters lap downstairs.

It's happy that he can sleep. Sounds like me though, if I'm home and able to, when I hurt I just sleep. I can sleep through almost any kind of pain.

I'm really bad about taking meds for pain, but getting better. Often it's not untill I can't bear it anymore and I can't go home that I take meds.

Means hes a hardcore kind of kid. Less suseptable to pain and just like his ol man.
