I was picking out a cantaloupe at the grocery store today, and a MILF comes up and asks me how to pick out a good pineapple, I know what she meant was "I wanna try to pick up your dick." but I helped her out while she was flirting, with her kids in her cart, and I left. I don't know why, I guess the kid thing threw me off :trippy:

That happens to me regularly. Something about showing confidence and sorting through produce makes people either want you or want advice.

I'm on the fence between the Nikon I posted earlier and this: Click me bitchez. I played with this one yesterday and was very impressed, they did not have a display model of the Nikon though :(

IMO when you buy a camera you either buy a Canon, Nikon or an Olympus. Sure Sony bought Minolta, but they can suck my cock with their proprietary memory and other bullshit. Digital sensors are easy, optics is not. Buy something from an optics company not an imaging company. Personally I am not even interested in Olympus but that is for different reasons.

I should have been some uber genious working on projects like earthrace or the wally hermes concept.

:sigh:

Does the hermes wally even need fuel? I thought it was all electric. I didn't have time to explore much more.

the wally 118... that gets 7 gallons to the mile of jet fuel

=)

Sean, let's go halfsies.

60 knots on a 118' super yacht would be ok by me. 3 turbines for thrust and 2 v16 deisels for trolling near the docks.

You can even buy a neutered version for a few Million less. I think the full 25mil version is worth it.

I vote for the 118 wally power with the big engines. The 85 meter jobies are cool, but I think that the ability to do 60 knots and outrun pirates would be better. It also looks much more like something the bad guy in james bond would have. It's a bit more cramped but I could deal with the ocea as the back yard.

Good luck.

My buddy just nailed a huge interview oportunity with a firm that handles CFO responsibilities for companies that don't have one and need a consult.

studying for midterm, i have a pretty good grasp on this history shit, so hopefully it will pay off

LOL at WoW Gaming mouse.

16 million color combinations. I need to get that for the roomate.

may have landed an interview with a Dallas based consulting firm

:woot:

It always amuses me that consulting firms hire people without experience to consult. Common practice, but strange IMO.

I say mindless but that's really not a bad thing

technically I'm not qualified for mindful work just yet ;)

I learned to shoot on an old Nikon SLR, they have always been my favorite cameras for SLR, but I'm not looking for SLR. My step dad is a photographer, he shoots with a D300, but I don't feel like dropping $2K. I'm not looking for ulra-compact either, I'm a man I could care less how much the thing weighs. I want function.

And on the cheaper cameras in particular optics win out. I'd personally still only buy from a camera/optics company. Not saying that across the board all the stuff they build is good, but if I were to take a chance it is what I would with.

Again I hate the Sony bullshit proprietary shit
