Wow. Hopefully they have them in store. If you go, please let me know...not that I need to drop $400 on a Kikuichi, I'll save that for when I go to Japan again and have a sashimi knife made for me.

I may go tomorrow. I doubt I would buy from a local shop as the prices are usually so insanely amazingly outstandingly inflated.

The last time I went to KW they had a whole room full of knives. Almost as big as the whole CCH store I was at today. I'll have to see if it's the same now.

The trip wasn't a total waste they had a tea steeping spoon (for loose tea at work) on sale.

Their website lists brands they didn't have and the sales guy who answered the phone wasn't honest.... unless when I dialed the ST paul numbr it too me to the edina location. It was worth the trip today to know not to expect much from that location. Having to get into my car from the back seat was worse than anything else.

The Edina store used to rock (mall one), really too bad its gone. Their cookbook section was nearly a library. Loved it.

Gas is finally fixed (turned out to be a much less expensive install than originally planned, so saved about a grand), drywall finishing is almost done, starting to see some light at the end of this tunnel
