I sould also say that these may be used with a portable media device. I've never used a heaphone amp before and I don't know if I want to get into that teritory.

:(

Portable and cans...not so much. I did wear mine while biking a bunch in college though. And yes, I can now laugh at myself.

I wouldn't mind some grado's but in the realm of "open" they are seriously "open".

I also like the relatively cheep price, and I could probably find a shop to try them out, rather than buying something I haven't listened too. I'm a bit affraid of the on ear though. Could you wear them for 8 hours? I would stick with my in pro audio type buds, but those get anoying after 3-4 hours even with breaks.

Have you used them with an Ipod or mp3 off your computer and do you use a headphone amp?

Keep your buds for portable, buy cans for 8 hour romps on the nooblets.

I've been shopping for a headphone amp to throw on them, I don't have one currently; listening from my Zune or computer, you can tell there is definitely more in them, but still not lacking IMO. They were my first "real" cans so there isn't much I can compare them too, I really enjoy the open baffle, no complaints about them at all. I opted for the Prestige 225's, comfort being the main reason, as they are the cheapest Grado cans what wrap around the ear vs. just sit on top of the ea. I could only handle them for about 3 hours for the first few days, I adapted and can wear them for 8 hours no problem

I like my Grado's, the on ear took some break in, now I can wear them 24/7 :)

Boo for on the ear. My pinna get sore way too easy.

Mine did for about a week, not after getting used too it though, maybe I'm just weird :ughdunno:

in case you'd rather have wild game for Thanksgiving ^^^

Interesting. Lots of places around here for game. Can't say that I've ever seen boar though.

There are bison, elk, beefalo farms within a 30min drive that all sell direct to the public. Normally I just stock up at the local farmers markets though as I don't really feel the need to drive out to the farm. Being I am hosting Turkey it made me want to find something real to eat in that regard as well.

I do get my beef & pork straight off the farm as well. Not sure why I never thought of poultry. I am now, just wish that the internet & farmers were more coincident as it would make it easier.

it's hard to find lower cost boom mics that don't have headphones attaced.

desktop mics like have always been so horrible. I have to turn the gain up and shout.

Maye I could rig something...

Or the shitty stamped speakers that defy Physics. Right.

Didn't you know they add teh SQz?
