Looked at that in person, screen sucks donkey dick in comparison.

That's actually my biggest problem. Saw the IPS screen on it and pretty much everything else looks like shit.

.....so how does an IPS Screen help? I dont know I have ever seen one.

Ok, another one. :P

Centric Rotors $800

Centric 29101-05130599 & Centric 29101-05130598

Off axis, glare, clarity. Same reason I use an Eizo at home.

That's why I listed part nubmers.

1) Is parts geek ok

2) Centric rotors ok

I assume yes to both, but I don't buy brakes so often :)

My eyes absolutely get exhausted using the Hanns G. Great bang for the buck, but it's a terrible monitor.

can someone change the tittle of danis post from " SPL finals" to "streetspl finals san antonio tx " please

What did you get MK?

U36SD. One thing I noticed as well is the laptop you listed has a better screen. I've always been satisfied with 780 but if 900 is useful for you then that is a factor.

My 24" desktop monitor was over $1k to get an IPS. I think it's of huge benefit. Apple's retina display is an IPS btw. The Asus one looks better though.

In particular a bitch on a plane with window glare or reduced light. Eye's get fatigued.

And anything glossy is out from the get go.

Then my laptop will be out for you. I don't do enough of that for it to matter

You can get that screen in the ultra as well for $700 new.

Then it shares the same screen as the Samsung Series 9. After seeing the IPS ASUS though it made me not want anything else.

Done

Although I took the liberty of using appropriate capital letters as well

grammar nazi

Amen--to grammar.

Weird..... It is one of the easiest on my eyes I have ever used.

thanks

Centric rotors are okay for a Camry. Wouldn't put them on the Benz. Brembo should be OEM IIRC. Have you tried Rock Auto?

Why are you wanting such an aggressive pad? I had the Greens on the Cobra and they worked wonders and that's their street pad.

Got a question.

starting to plan the next install once my car dies. which, i can only guess, will happen in the next few months (nothing i can do, high millage and so forth)

So, one thing that is importing when tuning a system is playing with the phase of individual speakers. Im curious if anyone has thought of using DPDT switches?

http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=060-087

in my current install, flipping polarity at the amp is a pain due to amp rack design. more install work might pay off next time around.

-would they be better before of after amplification?

related question, can the minidsp switch phase on individual channels?
