If your heat hovers at about 200 it can smoke for a few days I bet.

  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

At below zero and snowing I smoked 2 butts for 30+ hours and only used about 2/3s of the full coal capacity.

The egg is king!

I'd use half that on the C4.

Show off!

:-)

You know, we get coffee, we didn't eat something off that space egg you have, we didn't get bombed, I couldn't even swim when I came down, and I still had one of the most relaxing afternoons of my summer.

:-)

Lake time FTMFW.

I made that mistake already

Mmmm, chemically taste!!

and it only burns half as long!

Mmmm, chemically taste!!

I haven't done that yet. Is it pretty horrible?

Once, pre egg, I didn't let all the lighter fluid burn off the coal before throwing some food on the grill. Yuk. It wasn't even that bad but you could smell it on the food a bit.

I was drunk and hungry enough that enough horse radish mustard fixed it.

And a million times more ash.

Can you burn wood on it or does it have to be charcoal?

Charcoal is just pre burnt wood so yes and yes

I wasn't able to detect a chemically taste on the briskets and pork butt that I smoked, but I did nearly burn the whole damned bag of briquettes doing it.

And I don't let lighter fluid anywhere near my grills, Egg or otherwise.

I'm pretty chill, for the most part. There's a few things that will set me off like a frag grenade, though. Strangely lighter fluid is one of them.

I never use it anymore. But I did for a short while and made a few mistakes..... lol

With the plate setter in flames are of no worry.

Anyone know of a high viscosity paste that's not really adhesive?

I have an extremely small air leak that is 100% undetectable...

Some days it will leak and somedays it will not.. Soap and water can't find anything.

I figured since leak air pressure is so low, i could put something around 1 fitting at a time to see if it would stop the leak for a few days.

IF it does, then i know what fitting to fix.

But i can't think of anything to use.. and no i'm not using peanut butter, lol.

As much of a fan of denver as I am. And as much as id like to see peyton win thr mvp I think it has to go to ap.

You can try plumber's putty.

That should do it for temporary use.

Ok thanks. Perfect for what i was looking for.. Now the waiting game to see if i can prevent a leak so i know which fitting to replace.

And after doing some research, i found out that 14" air line needs to be sealed differently than large lines.

Teflon tape alone does not seal 14" air line.. SO.. @@$$*%(&(^%^, i'm probably going to be experiencing these leaks overtime throughout all the fittings until everything is re-sealed with teflon tape and rector seal, or leak-lock or something equivalent.

the dogs' faces when I start the Egg up...priceless...
