Ordered the parts for my bro's crossovers today. Will have fun with them.

Deadened the trunk on the Cut today. NOT fun. The new Spectrum sucks!!!! I had to seriously thin this stuff to even brush it on. It was ridiculous.

with the news from SS today did anyone catch this:

guys, i need your opinion on something, im starting to really question the direction that im going with my setup (SX 15s), i dont like how much weight im adding, and i dont like having to move the spare, the new RL-i8 look so damn sexy and they'll be so much easier to implement into the trunk

I just can't see a pair of 15's in an Impala SS. Maybe that's just me, but ...

If I could make my money back selling the SX's for damn close to what I paid for them, I'd be all over a single sub setup tucked away nicely.

i agree with ryan...either a single 12 or 15...

ur going to lose some spl by dropping to 8's, unless u did 4 of them and then ur running the risk of being just as heavy...but a pair of them would be sweet in the imp =]

alright, once we get full specs on the 8s and you get yours tested, i'll start heading in that direction

i think this is going to be good, for the price of one of my SXs i can get the 8s, i should be able to get more than the cost of a new amp for my current one, and the money from the other SX can go towards headers, and airpump delete stuff

8's are cool. go for it
