just got my ipod mini in, steve. first impressions, pretty neato. small and light, but it seems that it would scratch easily. good thing i got a case. friend told me to use winamp instead of itunes to transfer music, and it seems really easy that way. never tried the itunes route, but from what ive heard people hate it. however, if u already have a mac, then u might as well stick with itunes. i'm glad they upped the battery life from 12 hours to 18 hours this year :) i have about 10gigs of music but i only put on 3, cuz thats all i really wanna listen to ATM and it's more than enough. stock headphones are lame but i have some earbuds on the way. that is all.

Sounds awesome ... can't wait to order mine. I'll definitely have to get a case and some different earbuds with it as well.. I never knew you could use Winamp to transfer music, that's pretty cool.

Thanks for giving me your thoughts on it!

Damn, I need to sell this stuff I'm not using.

On another note. Bad news on the JBL, don't even want to discuss.

Good news: Got a call from JL tech today. The dub was undamaged, but had to be reconed anyways due to the testing. Not too shabby. Hmm, reconing a brand-new driver. Oh well. At least I know it's 100%. And of no cost to me either.

ill get some pics of the "nanner" plugs tomorrow

anyone have any suggestions for 6.5" mids, 4" mids, and a 1" tweeter?

i was going to go with the DLS iridium 6.3 (or 8.3) , but since i am going active i will have no use for the crossovers, and i figure i can save some money by buyng seperately. ive got plenty of depth so i could fit a shallow 8" woofer as well.

open to ideas. i dont want to spend more than $600.00

i still want to see pics of your Camaros Steve

I posted a fair amount a while ago in this thread.

You're more than happy to try and find them if you want ;)

i hate you so much :faintthud:

any idea what page they're on?

No frickin' clue there buddy ... was a long ways back.

Maybe tomorrow get me on AIM, I'll pop the picture CD in and send you a few.

EFFENDI, you a Morel/Peerless/Vifa/Usher/etc type of guy?

more or less....

just want a very good (high output) midbass and some detailed, but laid back vocal and high end. im open to any high end, high quality gear though.

I was just over @ SIN, haven't been there in a while.

I've managed to rack up a little over 1500 posts there, although I have no idea where most of those went to :)

I was more active on there right before I joined CA.com.

I'm also technically a member over on CAF, but the server issues made me leave before I really got established there.

That was the first car audio forum I ever signed up on, and it was way too huge. Still is.
