Anybody need a really cool preamp? It would even work with a solid state setup...anything that needs an excellent-sounding source selector and dual channel level controls...I even bought NOS military-surplus tubes for it.

Pretty much - it moves up and down, but doesn't spin to wind up. Not like it's a cheap reel either.
