In my experence it means that they have finalized the order and sent it to the warehouse to pull and ship.

sounds about rite. "released" the order or something to that effect. it was once in captivity, and is now being released into the wild. thats such a weird way to describe an order though. after released would come shipped. then, package lost by wonderful courier.

Boy do I see that often...but...think abou thow many packages they ship a day, then think that they really only run with about .06% loss/ damage rate. That is DAMN good.

By the way, its great to be one of Fedex's top 10 customers, you get to see and know things that no one else does

True, and I'm not losing sleep over this package, but I can't say the same for everything - my mom lost almost a grand worth of perishable flowers three days before a wedding delivery when they simply didn't show up in Memphis.

That's what shipping insurance is for, but still...

Could be one of many things

1) box is damaged

2) barcode isnt readable

3) driver was a dumb ass and couldnt find it so he brought it back

4) Jim want there and they are returning it <not likely
